Leadership is not a position, it is a mindset. Back in those days when we use to sit a lot more inside offices, when someone is asked who is the leader (manager, of course was more common term) of this department or organisation - one would be pointing to that corner office with a view. With what we have been dealing with currently in the world we are perhaps asked or compelled to do something that many are not accustomed to - lead, because there is no more corner office to point to.

We now all take an active role in leading ourselves, our family, our friends, our community and our organisation in one form or another. Nowadays, leadership counts in everything we do. However, not everyone is a traditional leader nor leads in a traditional way - whatever traditional means for you.
