Frequently Asked Questions
UNDERSTANDING ORSC™
What is ORSC™?
ORSC™ stands for Organization and Relationship Systems Coaching™. ORSC™ is an integrated and robust coaching model based on Relationship Systems Intelligence™.
Beyond Emotional Intelligence (relationship with oneself) and Social Intelligence (relationship with other) is the realm of Relationship Systems Intelligence where one’s focus shifts to the relationship with the group, team or system.
This approach creates sustainable and resilient teams (organizations) and families.
What is the foundation of ORSC™?
ORSC™ is based on Systems Theory, Process Work, Family Systems Therapy, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Quantum Physics, Co-Active Coaching™, and Taoism. At its core is the study of Relationship Systems Intelligence.
What is the Third Entity™?
Jungian scholars might call it a collective consciousness, business consultants refer to corporate culture and therapists address family system dynamics. The Third Entity is that which lives outside the individuals in a particular relationship system whether a work team, family, or couple. Still confused? John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr were individuals. The Beatles is their Third Entity™.
Who should do the ORSC™ program?
The ORSC™ Program is a tools-rich program for any individual or organisation that recognise and want to build on the value of building conscious and intentional relationships and partnerships. Some of our ORSC™ Program graduates include coaching practitioners, team leaders, Agile professionals, Scrum Masters, consultants, business owners, HR / OD / L&D professionals and more.

The ORSC™ Program offers skills and tools to develop relationship and systems coaching and leadership skills, and can be used to enhance an individual's scope of work and pool of existing and prospective clients. These skills and tools are also applicable in personal relationships as well. The modules are useful for anyone who who needs to work skilfully with others, be it teams, groups, partners, couples, leaders and organisations.

What is the Immersion Session post-Fundamentals all about?
For the APAC region, we offer a Complimentary Immersion Session (post-Fundamentals) to integrate the context of Fundamentals into the organization. It is an optional session where we will provide you with the opportunity to utilise the language of the coach, and if needed, the language of the team leader / consultant.
We also share how we can utilise these tools face to face, so that participants can access 2 formats of coaching. We find that participants in the consulting, Agile, and OD space have found the Immersion session to be very useful after taking Fundamentals.

ORSC™ AND OTHER COACHING METHODOLOGIES
How does ORSC™ work with other coaching methodologies?
The analogy that we like to use is that ORSC™ is an operating system upon which other applications, mental models and approaches can be reinterpreted. Once our students make the paradigm shift from engaging individuals to the entire group (what we call The Third Entity™, a whole new world of opportunities emerge. Many students report great satisfaction because what they’ve already learned and used in their work is even more effective when coupled with ORSC™ principles.
What is the difference between ORSC™ and other team coaching programs?
The experiential nature of ORSC™ makes it a practitioner's go-to. It combines the fields of coaching, facilitation, OD and change management - bringing focus to the team dynamics and process for change.
ORSC™ is also known particularly for its strength in combining theory (the mental models) with application.
